What we are looking for: As a Business Operations Associate at Alt, you will work with the CEO, the Operating Team, and cross functionally across the organization to lead strategic initiatives that will drive operational & financial efficiency & help drive company KPI’s. We are looking for someone who is a self starter and is excellent at finding opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. You will be bringing the company vision to life using your data driven approach to problem solving.   The impact you will make: Build out our financial model and work with Alt’s operating team to operationalize the model into a yearly plan Work with operating team on yearly financial plannings, budgets, and strategy Work with the CEO and other operating team members to prepare month end close deliverables, board decks, and other important documents related to company finances. Help find gaps in internal financial processes and help set better financial controls Work with accounting team and business leaders through yearly audit  Provide business insights to guide company decision making and to identify opportunities for improvement  Work closely with every department to identify operational improvements and drive solutions Conduct ad hoc analysis when needed on identified projects What you bring to the table: Strong analytical skills including expertise in Excel / Google Sheets, SQL, and BI/data visualization tools Able to clearly communicate complex data into actionable insight to different audiences  1+ years of experience in consulting, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or a high-growth startup  Comfortable communicating with cross functional teams with various levels of technical acumen Passionate about identifying problems and finding solutions  Experience owning projects from start to finish Exceptional project management skills Comfortable creating complex financial models and ideally is familiar with accounting and financial concepts  Strategic and creative thinker with strong business judgment Self learner that thrives in fast paced environments Strong presentation skills and has meticulous attention to detail What you will get from us: You will be given resources to help grow your personal brand and to position yourself as a thought leader in areas relevant to Alt. We want all full-time employees to be invested in Alt and to be able to take advantage of that investment, so our equity grants include a 10-year exercise window. The base salary range for this role is: $80,000 - $110,000. Offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
