HR CoordinatorStatus: Exempt                                                          Department: Human ResourcesPosition SummaryThe HR Associate provides an important service to the organization by effectively managing the key administrative processes within the Human Resources department.  The person in this role is responsible to lead a variety of day to day tactical responsibilities which impact the employee experience and the overall functionality of the organization. The HR Associate must possess a blend of both technical and interpersonal acumen so that they are able to effectively manage complex workloads while also fostering positive relationships at all levels of the business. The ideal candidate for this role is someone familiar with HR practices and procedures while also bringing a superior approach to managing administrative functions within a high volume department.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the completion of all aspects of the onboarding process by interfacing frequently with new hires and collaborating with cross-functional partners including payroll, IT and other stakeholders as relevantDevelop and implement an orientation program for new hires in order to help ensure effective and comfortable assimilation into the CompanyPerform a variety of data entry responsibilities including maintenance of the HRIS for all relevant personnel transactionsAssist as required on the administrative side of: organizational recruitment, employee benefits enrollment/changes, personnel file maintenance, and other related projectsApproach all work activities with a customer service focus being mindful of HR as a service department in support of the organizationEnsure compliance-readiness for the department through: timely and accurate processing of departmental transactions, thorough completion of all employee paperwork, security of confidential information and maintaining proper standards with record retentionEvaluate work processes on an ongoing basis; seek efficiencies and make appropriate suggestions for process improvementBuild and maintain effective cross-functional relationships within the organization; engage with cross-functional partners proactively in completion of job responsibilitiesRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactionsPerform all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Associates degree in human resources, business, finance or other relevant field; bachelors degree preferredWill considered relevant experience in lieu of degree requiredA minimum of one to three years of relevant work experienceComputer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookHRIS operating experience is highly preferredDynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levelsAbility to manage confidential information with the upmost care and diligenceUncompromising dedication to qualitySuperior verbal and written communication skillsExceptional organization skillsDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailExcellent follow-throughMust be driven and self-motivatedPlug Power, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
