The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of work experience which includes Big 4 or accounting operations, month-end close, and managing complex projects in high tech environment. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and creativity, that is deadline and detail oriented and possesses the ability to think and react quickly. You should have the ability to interact with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Sales Operations, Billing, and Legal. What You'll Do:Responsible for various general ledger management activitiesWork closely with the India shared services center team on GL operationsAssist in the monthly close process, which includes recording and reviewing journal entries; preparing and reviewing account reconciliations and researching fluxes.Coordinate audit and tax requests including preparation of supporting reports and documentation.Complete complex research and inquiries of GL transactions and activities.Continuously identify and develop solutions for process improvement.Assist with accounting integration activities, which includes implementing a variety of finance and accounting related software solutions.Assist in development and implementation of new policies and procedures.Other projects as assigned based on business needs.What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.Strong understanding of US GAAP.3-5 years of experience in a Big 4 or similar role and CPA is a plus.Candidate should be self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, work within tight deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment.Superior poise and professionalism.Must be able to think outside the box, work independently with general supervision, be a team player, and willing to contribute beyond the defined role to meet business needs as circumstances require.Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.Bonus Points:High-tech, start-up and/or rapid growth company experience preferred. Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, etc.) a Plus. ERP (accounting software package) experience is required.
