You will be required to interact within inter/intra teams in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. We are looking for those eager to bring in best practice processes, take on problems, and streamline processes for revenue accounting operations.Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of revenue accounting principles under US GAAP, specifically, ASC 606. Candidate should also have fair understanding and experience in GL accounting workflow and accounting principles. The person should have skills and ability to analyze the data and infer trends and potential issues before coming up with solutions. In addition, the candidate must have strong working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite desired) as well as of the month-end close cycle relating to revenue recognition.The candidate must have 6-8 years of relevant accounting experience working directly with the head office on consolidated accounting records in publicly traded technology companies under SOX internal controls environment (SAAS industry experience preferred). Working knowledge and experience with automation and process improvement projects.
