Prodsmart, a manufacturing SAAS solution from Autodesk, is seeking a talented Software QA Engineer to help hundreds of factories optimize their production processes.As a Software QA Engineer you will be working on designing and developing automated tests and analyzing test results to ensure delivery of high-quality software. You will drive initiatives related to improving the quality, stability, reliability, and usability of high-quality cloud services.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate within a scrum team to develop automated functional and end-to-end testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet user story acceptance criteriaEvaluate risk, quality, and stability of deliverables, contributing to the team's decision-making processPromote best QA practices within the scrum team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvementWork closely with product design and management to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plansDefine and execute detailed test plans and test cases, covering various types of testing such as exploratory, performance, smoke, and regressionDrive automation coverage, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing effective tools and practicesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience as a Software QA EngineerFamiliarity with programming languages such as JavaScript and Java, etc.Proficiency in Selenium for test automationFamiliarity with performance testing tools for REST APIs, such as JMeterHands-on experience testing backend applications and web applicationsExperience working with scalable, high-quality cloud servicesStrong troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detailSolid understanding of Agile development processes (Scrum framework, Kanban, etc.) and QA methodologiesExcellent communication and written skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Git for version controlProficiency in fast scripting using Postman to test REST APIsExposure to CI tools like JenkinsExperience in testing cloud infrastructure based on AWSFamiliarity with cloud data management services #LI-AC1At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
