Job Requisition ID #23WD70226Position OverviewWe are looking for a SOX Analyst to join the SOX compliance program, part of the Audit and Advisory Services (A&AS) team. The SOX team performs a broad variety of SOX activities including process walkthroughs, control testing, documentation, control remediation activities, training and etc. We are constantly updating our control environment to reflect our dynamic business – this is not a ‘repeat what we did last year’ type company.ResponsibilitiesTest internal controls following established test plans and test steps.Coordinate and participate in the process walkthroughs with process owners and external auditorsPrepare and update SOX documentation including process narratives, flowcharts and test resultsProvide ongoing education to process owners on evolving SOX regulations and company finance policiesIdentify opportunities to increase efficiency and/or reduce costs related to the SOX compliance effortParticipate in A&AS special projects/audits as neededManage critical quarter-end activities such as 302 control certification programsMinimum QualificationsMinimum 3+ years’ experience in internal or external auditing or SOx complianceBA/BS in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years of equivalent practical experienceSolid understanding of SOX compliance requirementsUnderstands business processes (e.g. Order to cash, procure to pay, financial reporting etc.) and audit and internal control testing techniquesDetail oriented, self-motivated work style and flexible with good prioritization skillsStrong analytical, communication and collaboration skillsProficient Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, Word, Visio etc.) and the ability to quickly learn new applications through training and self-instructionExperience with SAP and Workiva is helpfulAttainment of (or interest to work towards) a CPA or CIA certification#LI-AV1At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
