This role is in the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) division. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join one of our teams to help us fulfill the mission of the organization, supporting cross platform device independence including focus on creating a new framework that supports parity between Native/Mobile and Browser development. Responsibilities Design, implement, test and maintain high-quality, secure & stable code for use by other Autodesk teams to deliver products and solutions for customers Participate in design and code reviewsDevelop estimates for tasks, evaluate risks and identify dependencies, to aid in planningWork as part of a very collaborative team of software engineers, QAs and designers in Toronto and potentially other worldwide engineering sites Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline, or equivalent experienceProfessional experience as a Software Developer or similar role Outstanding programming, debugging and problem-solving skillsClient side web development skills: Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node/NPM, React & Redux frameworks Experience and familiarity in using web-based technologies, concepts, and constructsStrong, demonstrable interest in software architecture and designKnowledge of source control systems, especially Git & GitHub Ability to work well in a team to deliver on team goalsCommitment to learning and self-development in both technical and non-technical skills.Commitment to delivering a best-in-class customer experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with developing web applications in a modular, componentized manner Experience with Agile methodology Experience with usage of Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Familiarity with test automation tools & strategies At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
