You’ll work closely with our internal technical teams to build, validate & assess the capabilities of our new solutions and continually improving our ability to verify the quality of our products and services before we launch them.The ideal candidate has direct work experience in VFX, film, animation or game pipeline productions and wants to apply their knowledge to building a new set of solutions for the media & entertainment industry.ResponsibilitiesPrimarily responsible for verifying our new product workflows to uncover possible issues in features, testing for usability & providing product improvement recommendations based on your findingsSimulate a variety of pipeline production scenarios to validate technical solutions before launchingWork closely with our development & software testing teams to analyze new feature specifications and help create test cases or to supplement & improve existing testing capabilities.Work closely with other team members to prioritize and fix software or workflow issues, ensuring everything runs smoothlyLog defects for tracking & reporting using JIRAValidate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardwareWork with within an agile team on improving quality assurance processes and be an ambassador for qualityMinimum Qualifications5 + years of experience working in animation, vfx, film or games production (e.g., experience using Maya, Houdini, or similar 3D packages), ideally as a Pipeline TDSolid understanding of production pipeline workflows in vfx, film, tv and/or gamesExperience with USD, production management and/or asset management is a definite plusStrong spoken & written communication skillsExcellent time-management skills, adaptability, and ability to prioritize tasksLaser focused on customer satisfaction, keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilitiesDegree in computer sciences, graphics, software engineering or related field is an assetPreferred Qualifications Experience with programming in python, or C++, or Mel is an assetFamiliar with Windows, Linux and MacOSFamiliar with development tools like Jira, Github, Testrail, JenkinsWorking experience in JS or other modern programming language is a plusExperience testing commercial software quality#LI-Remote#LI-Hybrid#LI-CD2At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
