This is why you will love leading content marketing for one of the most highly regarded brands in the cybersecurity industry.As a Senior Content Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our content strategy to drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and position Carbon Black as a thought leader in the industry.The senior manager of partner marketing will be responsible for building and managing our partner marketing programs, fostering strong relationships with key partners, and driving joint marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, channel management, and marketing, to develop and execute effective partner marketing strategies that align with our business objectives.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading the content marketing efforts, managing a team of content creators, and developing high-quality content assets that resonate with our target audience.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and sales, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with our business objectives.What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Travel up to 15% of the time meeting for internal and events/meetings.Responsibilities:1. Content Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company's marketing and business goals.Conduct research and analysis to understand target audience needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform content planning.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define content themes, topics, and formats that resonate with our target audience.2. Content Development and Management:Produce high-quality content assets, such as blog posts, white papers, eBooks, case studies, videos, infographics, and social media content.Oversee the content creation process from ideation to publication, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a steady cadence of content production and distribution.3. Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement:Position Carbon Black as a thought leader in the industry by developing insightful and engaging content that addresses industry challenges, trends, and best practices.Collaborate with subject matter experts and executive leadership to develop thought leadership content, including bylined articles, speaking engagements, and interviews.Identify and pursue opportunities for industry recognition and awards based on the quality and impact of our content.4. Content Distribution and Promotion:Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop and execute content distribution strategies across multiple channels, including our website, blog, social media platforms, email campaigns, and third-party platforms.Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) to increase organic visibility and traffic.Leverage analytics and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of content distribution and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.5. Content Governance and Compliance:Develop and maintain content governance standards, ensuring adherence to legal and compliance requirements, brand guidelines, and industry regulations.Implement content management systems and tools to streamline content creation, organization, and publishing processes.Conduct regular audits and reviews of content assets to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand messaging.What is the leadership like for this role?
