Senior Associate, Fixed Assets

Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:Responsible for tracking Capital Project, CIP listing and follow up with Asset owner & Finance Controller to get them capitalized upon placed on service.Responsible for Creation of Internal Order in SAP and communicate the Internal Order number to the requester Responsible for Creation of Asset Masters & Capitalization/Disposals/Transfers entries in SAP based on request.Prepare Fixed Assets Rollforward and Lease Rollforward Recons.  month-end and quarter-end activities related to Capex, Maintain complete and accurate asset records in accordance with Infinera’s Fixed asset & Lease policy.Support Fixed Asset/Lease accounting internal and external audits as needed.Prepare Quarterly PPE Accumulated depreciation entries of purchase accounting.Responsible for Balance sheet Account Reconciliations in Blackline with substantive supporting and explanations.Responsible for preparation of Journal entries pertaining to - Fixed Assets - Disposal, Manual Depreciation Accrual and Quarterly Lease adjustments, Amortization & Impairment entries etc.,Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintain the documentation and necessary support to substantiate the Control exercise.Education & Experience Necessary For Success:B.Com/M. Com/MBA/CMA (Qualified)/CA InterMinimum 3+ years of relevant work experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability and desire to work well with all levels of the organizationExposure to SAP ERP is added advantageExperience working across cultures and geographies.Should be a good team playerInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
