The Sr. Field Marketing (Northern US & Canada) will report to the Director of Americas Field Marketing and be responsible for generating awareness and demand using a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics including, but not limited to, regional trade shows, conferences, and SailPoint hosted events. This person will work closely with sales directors to ensure marketing aligns and delivers overall pipeline to build strong business growth.  The person will need to have experience in strategic, digital, campaign, and channel marketing as many of our campaigns are planned and executed with our partners.The expectations of this role in the first year with SailPoint will be:Within 3 months, it’s expected that the regional marketer will understand the internal team structure in sales and marketing. Have developed a demand gen plan with targets and pipeline in mind for assigned teams. The plan should include aspects of what other teams are planning and executing to showcase an integrated approach to meet lead and pipeline targets. You will primarily work with sales VPs, directors, and partner managers. You’ll be at the beginning stages of executing events.Within 6 months, it will be expected that you understand how we report on success and are able to build a reporting schedule with sales leaders. This report should contain not only the performance to goal of the activity you executed, but also how other parts of the business have contributed to impacting our lead and pipeline goals Teams include campaign, web, paid media, event, webcasts, and partner marketing. You should be able to articulate the content required in driving awareness and demand gen across paid media, website, and nurture. In preparation for the following fiscal year, you will ensure that we have activity planned and ready for the next fiscal year that will drive demand keeping in mind limited resources due to sales kickoffs and company-wide events.Within 1 year, it will be expected the marketer will have full knowledge of what your territories require and build a plan from scratch. You will provide feedback and contribute to the business overall by sharing best practices and ideas on how we can be more proficient in our Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts.Key Responsibilities:Drive the national marketing and demand generation efforts for SailPoint in Northern US & CanadaPromote and drive SailPoint’s vision and strategy in Northern US & CanadaBuild a marketing plan to generate pipeline for direct sales force and with strategic partners.Drive demand generation activities directly, via the partner eco-system, or in collaboration with campaign and paid media teams.Build a plan that meet target accounts, developing new prospects across Northern US & CanadaMonitor lead follow up and conversions to opportunities to build a solid pipeline within regionRequirements:8+ years’ experience in Field Marketing with enterprise software experience (security software experience a plus)Marketing experience, messaging/positioning experience a plusExperience with complex enterprise sales cycles and demonstrating marketing’s impact on the business thru business models, dashboards and dataStrong understanding on how to leverage and plan lead generation programsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven experience using Salesforce; experience with 6Sense a plusBudget Planning and Management SkillsSolid event management and organization skillsExperience in contributing to integrated campaigns that leverage the full marketing mixAbility to work in a matrixed environmentSelf-starter who can be independent and the ability to execute flawlesslyBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications discipline preferredAbility to travel nationally between 30-40% of the timeSailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
