JOB DUTIES: Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust microservices. Produce designs, rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements. Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing. Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and allow for continuous delivery. Ensure that features are properly deployed into production and generate metrics. Design technical solutions for customer problems presented by a Product Manager or by a Technical Leader. Implement those designs in Java within the microservices architecture environment owned by company resources. Create tests that validate the designs and code written. Monitor and maintain the software as it is running to ensure that it is operationally efficient and functionally correct. Present demonstrations of this functionality to the rest of the technical group and other product managers.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering. 5 years to include: writing code in Java/J2EE 8 SDK and testing with JUnit in a hosted environment; Designing solutions using a Web Services (SOAP, REST) and testing those solutions through a framework built for unit testing; maintaining a product that uses Git, Jenkins, and Gradle/Maven; and using the Spring framework with a backing SQL database such as MySQL, IBM DB2, or Oracle.OTHER: up to 100% remote and reporting to HQ located at 11120 Four Points Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78726 SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.
