This position contributes to highly visible engagements, deliverables and outcomes inside F5 that often have the potential to materially impact F5’s entire business.Primary Responsibilities: Supports AR influential excellence efforts (30% of time)Work in partnership with AR staff to collect and organize analyst research and then disseminate knowledge derived from research among key internal audiencesMaintains database of analyst contacts and tracks engagement history with targeted analysts; generates metrics from related dataParticipates in periodic quantitative evaluation of analyst influence to support targeting methodologiesTracks analyst firm business developments and changes in research agendas and analyst coverageTracks paid analyst resource allocation and utilizationMonitors analyst social media presence and activityContributes to outbound analyst-facing activity streams (35% of time)Assists AR staff in project management related to F5 vendor or product ratings and industry analyst reports that rank F5’s products and services, including Gartner Magic Quadrants/Critical Capabilities and Forrester WavesInteracts directly with analysts and other analyst firm staff in scheduling and coordinating engagementsAssists in the review and editing of analyst-targeted content in partnership with content owners across F5May manage second- and third-tier analyst relationships and reactive requestsAdditional analyst relations duties (35% of time)Assist with research, guidance and insights into the business intelligence & corporate strategy teamSupports customer evidence-related activities for AR, such as customer reference identificationContributes to AR activities around product launches, events and announcementsNote: The percentages of time noted above are current estimates and may change at any time depending on the business needs of the company.Other Responsibilities:Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.Performs other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of enterprise technologyUnderstanding of the IT analyst business landscapeAbility to distill & summarize significant elements from lengthy technical articles and conversations (without using generative AI/chatbot tools)Persuasive storytellingExperience in presentation and graphic designExcellent writing and editing abilitiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degreePrior exposure to IT industry analyst relation practices preferred, or related professional responsibilities in managing long-term relationships of persuasion within a context of technical or complex fieldsThe individual must be articulate, professional and have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with a wide range of personalitiesStrong project management and organization skillsDemonstrated analytical skillsSelf-motivator and entrepreneurial spiritNaturally curiousPhysical Demands and Work Environment: Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone & video conference, and read printed material.Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 15% of the time spent traveling.Job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Benefits:We provide competitive salaries, a world-class benefits package, including 100% of the premium for employee medical, dental and vision insurance, highly subsidized premiums for dependent coverage, 401K match, employee stock purchase plan,18 days paid time off within the first year and 9 paid holidays, life insurance, short- & long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and much more.#LI-CC1 | #LI-Remote1The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
