As a people leader you will be responsible for modeling and nurturing team culture, leveraging our BeF5 and LeadF5 company values. You will champion good business analysis practices, provide decision support and air cover for your team as needed, mentor your team to help them grow their careers and provide effective performance management. This role is pivotal in connecting the product features to outcomes and really will drive the engine to bring value to F5’s stakeholders.The role of a Sr. Manager, Business Analysis is to deeply understand your stakeholder's business strategic needs, coach others in the advanced techniques of business analysis and participate in the development of standard of practice across the business analysis domain. Ensure standard practices are in place and performance measurement is established. Span of control as a BA Sr. Manager is multiple Value streams within the technology organization. A key connection is with Portfolio Analysts to understand business outcomes and measures so that the user stories align to and incorporate these objectives, while also partnering with Solution Owners, Product Leaders, business stakeholders, etc.The role calls for both hard and soft skills and flexibility to accommodate evolving stakeholder needs. The Sr. BA manager will identify & implement improvements to increase velocity of delivering value to stakeholders. This role will promote F5 culture and build high performing teams resulting in high voice of the employee scores.What You’ll DoFunctional Management – 40%Coach and develop a team of business analystsEstablish performance metrics for Business AnalystsEstablish standards of practiceEvangelizes BA role at F5Performs all HR functions for teamBuilds a high performing teamStrategy and business analytics – 20%Partner with Product Strategy to understand F5 missions and strategies and how technology can achieve the goals.Partner with Portfolio Analyst for deep understanding of business objectives and outcome desiredUnderstand business KPIs and metrics that deliver value at the technology services level.Understands F5 company strategy and missions and how new solutions advance F5 business.Stakeholder management and understanding - 20%Deeply understands relevant business area within their span of control.Manage stakeholder communications and escalations.Ensures and tracks customer satisfaction.Delivery and Execution 10%Key contact for Product to move opportunities and epics through the intake process.Plans & executes Workshops across business departments, with vendors, and with senior level stakeholders.Establishing quality metrics to improve UAT.Ensures timing and alignment of backlogs to deliver large complex programs across vendor partners, F5 and stakeholders.Measurement and Improvement – 10%Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted.Monitor & understand value delivered within technology services to meet customer needs.Other ResponsibilitiesResponsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
