At F5 this is done via the Agile practice of user story writing. As a people leader, you will be responsible for modeling and nurturing team culture, leveraging our BeF5 and LeadF5 company values. You will champion good business analysis practices, provide decision support and air cover for your team as needed, mentor your team to help them grow their careers and provide effective performance management. This role is pivotal in connecting the product features to outcomes and really will drive the engine to bring value to F5’s stakeholders.The role of a Manager, Business Analysis is to deeply understand your stakeholder's business operations & strategic needs, coach others in the advanced techniques of business analysis and participate in the development of standard of practice across the business analysis domain. Span of control as a BA manager is at the Value stream level. A key connection is with Portfolio Analysts to understand business outcomes and measures so that the user stories align to and incorporate these objectives, while also partnering with Solution Owners, Product Leaders, business stakeholders, etc.The role calls for both hard and soft skills and flexibility to accommodate evolving stakeholder needs. You will successfully manage a large backlog across several workstreams.
