Illumina is looking for an exceptional technical leader to join our Software Technical Product Management organization. This team is responsible product feature definition, system analysis and design, product discovery and experimentation, backlog prioritization and release management across all Illumina software products . This role fills a critical leadership position in the organization, and the successful candidate must have extensive experience in designing complex software solutions, preferably in medical devices, creating and driving detailed planning and scheduling, and representing software in cross-functional product teams. The role is also responsible for people management of the team of Technical Product Managers, including staffing, performance management, and development of those resources. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
