That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity.The RoleWe are looking for a senior, Demand Generation Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimising EMEA marketing programs that deliver the required pipeline for our business.  Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation in EMEA, the Demand Generation Manager is central to supporting our regional inbound strategy and driving our regional demand generation objectives. This person will be a key member of our marketing and demand generation team, influencing the success of the marketing organisation at Proofpoint. As the Demand Generation specialist, you will possess an understanding of the journey customers and prospects encounter when researching and purchasing Proofpoint’s solutions, actively participate in the development and execution of marketing programs to enable effective selling. You will be responsible for developing and scaling marketing programs to drive inbound leads and executing localised lead acquisition strategies to grow the pipeline. Your Day to DayThe Demand Generation Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting and raising awareness of the Proofpoint portfolio, and lead demand generation initiatives across multiple channels:Determine an audience first approach to program execution by defining customer segments and ABM targeting Planning, activation, and optimisation of Global Certification program into EMEA market to increase number of active participants from the region.  Ensure there is a clear follow up to the certification program to drive opportunities for the business development team Construct a direct marketing program that demonstrates to C-Suite the ‘Reason to believe’ in Proofpoint as a partnerDevise customer marketing programs to drive cross-sell/up-sell opportunities Manage the promotion, distribution, and watching of globally created OnDemand WebinarsWorking with 3rd Party media publishers commission independent webinars to facilitate amplification of Proofpoint's thought leadership perspectives    Input demand-generating marketing programs into the overarching marketing calendar Create key strategic demand generation programs that connect to business objectives and define and measure ROI metricsBuild strong working relationships across, corporate marketing, digital marketing, field marketing and sales to achieve business goalsProvide regular updates to management on plans, progress, program deliverables, and performance in alignment with key strategic goals Introduce new marketing approaches, processes, and optimization techniques to better connect with customers What You Need to SucceedEssential Skills Customer demand generation practitioner with substantial experience and expertise in designing and implementing omni-channel customer journeys, including direct mailA customer-centric mindset, focused on solving customers pain points, across the buying committeePassion and curiosity about the buyer/customer and developing value-driven program to generate demand.Expert in Salesforce from a Customer relationship manager perspective, using data and touch points to propose customer cross-sell/upsell programs to grow pipelineCertified Marketo expert with ability to design robust/sequential email marketing activations to promote customer programsAudience focused with ability to utilise technologies such as Salesforce, Marketo and 6Sense to devise account-based audience strategiesDemonstrated proficiency in analytical skills and data-driven thinking with an ability to use marketing metrics to optimise customer strategies and drive successful programsSpecialist in defining, planning and co-ordinating activation of webinars to support campaignsInnovative and creative thinker who contributes valuable new ideas and insights, with a willingness to experiment and innovateResourcefulness and ability to anticipate issues and work through them with a proactive natureDemonstrated cross-functional collaboration and communication skills across all levels of the organization and with third parties.Desirable Skills Outstanding project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent written and spoken communications skills with an additional European language an advantageExtensive demand generation experience in a SaaS, Cloud or IT Security enterprise software organisationWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
