This role involves supporting the newly developed purchasing department and will include heavy involvement with the support of our recently implemented Coupa Purchasing system. This role will be responsible for cross collaboration with various business partners throughout the company. WHAT YOU'LL DO:Work cross functionally with various internal business partners and external suppliers to support their successful and efficient use of our PTP system Coupa through guidance of how to submit purchase requisitions, contract creation, PO change orders, receiving and invoice confirmation, and resolve related issue.Develop and monitor reporting KPIs to ensure Coupa users are maintaining their Coupa transactional data such as creating purchase requisitions correctly (department/account selection and structure), receiving POs timely, and following best practices set in place by the company.Provide general system support as needed to Coupa users and suppliers.Maintain and create purchasing management instructions, policies, and procedures, as well as provide training and guidance to ensure maximum compliance throughout the company.Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and suggest projects to streamline business operations where applicable.Work closely with suppliers, business users, and AP team to onboard new suppliers and verify business and banking details through the Coupa Supplier Information Management (SIM) module.Support the business teams to review commercial terms on supplier contracts and help with supplier negotiations as required while working closely with Legal.Participate in supply base optimization and supplier management activities to help support rapid and sustainable growth of our business.Have a creative mindset to solve problems while using data analysis to support your recommended solutions.Communicate and collaborate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal departments worldwide.Provide audit support for compliance team.Troubleshooting of system errors and other administrative tasks as needed.Performs analysis and ad-hoc reporting as per user requests. WHO YOU ARE:Experience in procure-to-pay (P2P) Indirect Procurement.Experience working with Coupa or a similar PTP system for 2 plus years.Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).Have previously worked on Supplier Enablement, Punchouts & Catalogues, Contracts, etc.Have a high degree of understanding requirements around requisitions, POs, invoices, receipts, and tolerances.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (specifically excel).Self-starter who can work independently and learn quickly.Ability to prioritize and work under deadline pressures.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Possess an aptitude for customer service.Proficiency in handling multiple concurrent projects and schedules.#LI-LM2Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $20.00 -$32.00In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions.
