We are looking for a professional with a strong operational mindset to handle complex employee inquiries that may require cross functional collaboration for efficient and timely resolution with a laser focus on an exceptional employee experience and a consistent customer service approach.You will be part of the global People Operations team reporting to the SVP, People Operations based in New York.What You Will Be Doing: Develop strategy, vision, and design for the employee experience by leading and owning the performance management approach for the organizationOversee the development of the performance review process, ensuring consistent, fair, and timely submissions Lead and manage a team that delivers performance management consultation and expertise to the organizationProvide recommendations to senior leadership and managers on the performance measures that should be integrated into the performance review process Serve as an escalation point as appropriate to provide senior leadership/managers guidance on complex matters related to career progression Partner on employee engagement initiatives that support the development of high-performing teamsLeverage KPIs and qualitative data to lead continuous process improvements efforts related to the employee performance experience Stay abreast of industry-wide employee experience trends and leverage this knowledge to improve the experience and proactively reduce risk Lead internal projects as neededWhat You Bring To The Table: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.At least 8-12 years of experience working in performance management/ human resources with solid, working knowledge of the principles and practices of the function.At least 5 years of proven progressive leadership experience in situations requiring change and evolution in uncertain and ambiguous situations.Strong ability to build trust, along with demonstrated ability to drive and lead results in building high performing teams. Stellar communication skills, conflict management and resolution skills with experience in delivering sensitive messaging of all types to a wide variety of stakeholders. Results driven ability with problem analysis and resolution skills.Practical understanding and experience across key HR functional areas, processes, and practices, including both technical and non-technical functions. Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work with all levels of the organization and across functional areas.Agile and able to adapt as projects and priorities change and able to remain composed, positive, and gritty in the face of any setbacks or challenges. Able to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives and to discover solutions and build consensus. Generous and open communication style. #LI-JK1Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $121,500 -$222,800In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
