WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: As the voice of our customers globally, you’ll understand how to make users’ lives better through software. One of our core product principles is “do the right thing.” We expect you to represent our company and exercise good judgment, by balancing the needs of our diverse agency clients. You will accomplish this by teaming up with designers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to create delightful, engaging experiences. You will gather customer requirements, design prototypes, prioritize and scope releases that represent customers’ needs, then work with the rest of the engineering team to build those products and iterate on them over time. In this specific role, you will own the roadmap and execution for various data products. This can include UI/API experiences for building and managing advertisers’ targeting strategies, data visualizations and insights, models and pipelines for data activation and optimization, and workflows for activation data across The Trade Desk platform. As a Product Manager for audiences and data products, you will be working closely with stakeholders across our UX/UI, Data Partnerships, Data Science, and Engineering Teams to help think through tradeoffs in workflow implementations, visualizations, model approaches, and customer impact. In addition to those teams, you will be working with stakeholders all across the globe to bring our shared vision for programmatic advertising to life. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: 5+ years of Product Management experience Excellent communication/presentation skills both in large and small groups. A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs Strong interest in what computing can do: a passion for technology and how to apply that to problems of massive scale BONUS Background in software development, engineering, or data science / analytics Prior experience in adtech / martech, and an understanding of the uses and technology surrounding DMPs, CDPs, and Data Activation platforms #LI-CP1 Our Compensation and Benefits (for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $100,400 -$184,000In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
