You will create best-in-class working relationships with top retailers, helping them grow their retail media offerings by developing unique Audience and Measurement solutions that drive media performance for TTD advertisers. You will also help fuel advertiser adoption of retail solutions on The Trade Desk.Responsibilities include the development of new partnerships and solutions, strategic partner management, exploration of expansion opportunities, driving commercial negotiations, and ensuring all aspects of the partnership are working smoothly (product, integrations, sales enablement, etc.). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable presenting to either internal stakeholders or external clients/partners.What you do:Develop new relationships with retailers and help them grow their media business on TTD Manage strategic retail partnerships to maximize their value and success in working with TTDDrive optimal relationship structure for partnerships in conjunction with Product, BD, Legal, Finance and other internal stakeholdersMaintain regular communications and checkpoints with management and with partners to report on status and future opportunitiesWork with go-to-market teams to evangelize, educate and grow the use of the partners’ offerings.Facilitate communication internally and externally related to partnerships (demands, strategies, roadmaps, operational requirements)Manage partnership integration, including regular interface with internal teamsSupport sales enablement efforts related to the partnership and overall retail strategy, with both internal team and with TTD clientsIdentify partnership opportunities; collect feedback on existing/potential utilization from agency teamsQualifications:7+ years experience creating and building differentiated relationships with strategic partners, ideally in the retail and optimally the CPG retail spaceExperience with strategic partner account managementExperience with contracts and vendor negotiationsBackground developing Audience & Measurement solutions Understanding of changing identity landscape in advertisingExperience in digital media required; Familiarity with the adtech landscape & data companies highly preferredExcellent judgement & acute sense of self-awarenessProven communication, questioning, and listening skills in formal and informal settingsComfort with fast-paced, dynamic working environment with shifting prioritiesAbility to build excellent rapport with internal (Legal, Finance, Product) and external stakeholders; strong teamwork is a mustMust be comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrated use of critical thinking techniquesOur Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.  The base salary range for this role is $147,000 -$269,500In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.  The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions.  Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
