This is a unique position which requires deep functional and domain expertise and some technical knowledge coupled with the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Person in this role will be part of the offshore Delivery and Support team working closely with US IT team and business team in delivering project and support activities. The person in this role will perform 70% Functional and 30% Technical activities with customer first approach, highly collaborative, and constantly seek input to ensure success.Primary Responsibilities: Partner with various stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, procurement, Shared Services, Sales, Order Management) to identify area of improvement, define scope, document business requirements, gain consensus, communicate progress, coordinate test and implement solutionsPerform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutionsStay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.Ensures that the delivery team commits to achievable and realistic goals and includes the entire team in the estimation/planning process to obtain diverse perspectivesSolves complex problems by working with cross-functional teams from IT and business across regionsBe a subject matter expert and train/mentor teammates and business personnel as neededSupport Finance related internal controls; ensure robust controls and SOX/ITGC complianceProvide Level 2 and 3 support on service incidentsRequirements: 7+ years of experience implementing and managing ERP systems. Workday or NetSuite ERP experience preferred.4+ years of strong domain experience in finance applications, processes and capabilities (Order to Cash , Revenue, Record to report, P2P)Detailed understanding of common business practices related to Accounting, Order-to-Cash (including billing, revenue management, subscription, purchasing, etc.)Experience with areas covering ERP (GL, Financials, Banking, Payables, and Receivables), CRM (Life cycle from Opportunity to order), Electronic Funds Transactions, Fixed Asset etc.Strong experience in fit-gap analysis, application design, modification, training, testing and support desiredAbility to document, articulate, present requirements, analyzing solution options, best practices and get consensus & buy in from various tech groups / teams.Hands on experience in finance systems for SaaS / cloud companies / enterprise B2B technology companies.Sound understanding Agile and Software Development Life Cycle processGood understanding of application integration through microservicesStrong communication skills, including the ability to move fluidly between business and technology discussionsBachelor's degree or master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experienceAbout Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
