This is a challenging, fast paced role that will offer great opportunities to learn and interface with change-makers throughout the business. This effort includes, but is not limited to, driving high profile, large scale process changes, software implementations, and other projects designed to transform the business, while other operations teams focus on the day to day tasks of running the business.The Director of Sales Transformation will be expected to understand various challenges facing the Sales Organization, define and prioritize issues, consult with SMEs, undertake research to recommend solutions, and design projects to deliver those solutions. These projects are often large and complex, and will involve workstreams owned by stakeholders from across the company. The Director of Sales Transformation will not just be a "project manager" - they will work to gain in-depth knowledge of the issue such that they too are an SME, and perform a substantial amount of the work themselves, while managing the work of others to ensure they are operating efficiency within the project. They will also be responsible for the change management throughout the project or program, and for setting success metrics that they will report on post-implementation. They should also expect to interact with top company executives globally while delivering clear and concise communication regarding the transformation project.Key Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):Working independently to own large scale, high profile transformational projects that will solve important business issues in the Sales OrganizationDesigning and managing these projects from end to end (e.g., gathering and synthesizing information to understand complex issues, creating and maintaining work plans, selecting success metrics, aligning working teams, implementing change management strategies, and reporting on progress)Proactively anticipating and navigating through roadblocks to deliver projects on time and as expected, driving towards the desired end result through organizational and operational complexityManging senior level, cross functional stakeholders while executing key tasksAssisting with smaller projects or adhoc reporting requests for senior leadership, as neededDeveloping materials and collateral to report regularly on project objectives, progress, findings, and results to senior leadershipInterfacing on with senior leadership on a regular basis to gather information and execute change managementMinimum Requirements10+ years of relevant professional experienceA demonstrated track record of executing on the key responsibilities outlined above4+ years of experience with a professional services or consulting firmBachelor's Degree (MBA or relevant experenice across multiple businss functions a plus)Experience leading global transformations or process changesAbility to structure ambiguity in order to create workplans and tangible resultsExperience working in the tech industry, working with sales organizations a plusMastery of Excel and PowerPoint - adept at storytelling through slides and Excel based analyticsStrong executive prescence and deep experience interfacing with senior executivesAbility to learn and synthesize new information quickyTendency to think ahead, act proactively, and execute on key elements of a project with a sense of urgencyAbout Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
