Your potential is waiting; why are you?Job Title: Professional Services Consultant - DigitalJob Location: Manila, PhilippinesJob DescriptionProfessional Services Consultants will provide technical expertise for solution implementations using the digital suite of products primarily in the Genesys Cloud platform. This includes customer discovery sessions, solution design, software installation and configuration, functional and integration testing, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer to the customer and other project stakeholders. On some occasions, consultants in this role are also expected to be able to identify, articulate, and help develop new sales opportunities for digital engagements.This position will reported directly to the Professional Services Manager based in Manila, Philippines. Successful candidates will work closely with project teams around the world, under the project leadership of assigned Team Leads or Project Managers, and would be responsible for the outcome of each individual project engagements while providing the best customer experience for our customers, partners, and end-users.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):Deployment of Genesys solutions on the cloud focusing on the digital suite of products which include Chat, Email, Social Media, Messengers, Bots, and other mobile or web-based channels.Management of project timelines by ensuring dependencies and deadlines are being met.Maintaining accurate records of customer deployments including architecture, configuration, deployment templates, etc. and archiving upon completion.Troubleshooting of complex applications and integrations.Following project change management protocols and customer security guidelines.Performing knowledge transfer of delivered solutions at the conclusion of each engagement as necessary.Participate in the creation of knowledge base articles, solutions, and other related collaterals.Provide timely progress reports on project deliverables to appropriate Project Managers, stakeholders, and other senior members of the technical and management staff.Required Profile and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. In the absence of a degree, we do consider applicants with 5 or more years of related and demonstrated industry experience with a technology company.Practical knowledge and understanding of various digital media technologies (email, chat, social media, messengers, bots, etc.) and common web application architectures.Software design and development experience preferably in the fields of server-side, web, or mobile applications programming.Good knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, REST, WebSocket, APIs, and classic web services.Experience integration with APIs using a modern structured programming language.Familiarity with Databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.), NoSQL Databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.), Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, Jetty, etc.), and Server Security (SSL/TLS, Firewalls, etc.).Solid analytical programming and problem-solving skills including software operation diagnostics to get to the heart of complex issues.Business SkillsBe able to work independently and as a member of a local and virtual team through a fast paced and complex project engagement.Good command of the English language on both verbal and written mediums and be able to effectively communicate and interact with business and technical audiences.
