Associate Security Analyst

Your potential is waiting; why are you?As an Associate Security Analyst you will be responsible for day-to-day, proactive monitoring to ensure security requirements and configurations are met within Genesys Cloud. This role will also allow for implementation of new security solutions and assessing functionality of current tooling, as well as maintaining strong access and account management controls.What you will do:Provide user lifecycle management by deactivating, auditing, and reviewing account access of critical systems (Okta, AWS, etc).Work with fellow Security Analysts to gather KPIs for the business.Assist with change management responsibilities.Monitor configurations of production systems to ensure they remain compliant.Monitor security configurations to ensure they are operating effectively.Monitor security advisories to increase awareness to new and current threats.Work closely with Security Engineers to improve incident alerting and automated remediation.Work with the Security Operations team on evidence collection for customer and compliance audits.Participate in a rotating 24x7 on call shift with fellow Security Analysts.Understand & comply with PCI, HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and EthicsWhat you will bring to the role:Strong understanding of IAM methodologiesQualification in IT related discipline or relevant work experienceUnderstanding of fundamental IT security practicesStrong organization skillsEffective multi-taskerDetail oriented and systematic.Desirable experience or willing to learn:ITSM solutions like JIRADocumentation solutions like Confluence and SharepointLogging/SIEM solutions like Splunk, SumoLogicAWS cloud technologyLinux serversData collection solutions like Power BiOne or more of the following certifications would be an advantage but not required:Security+CCSKAny AWS certificationBenefits Flexible work schedules and work from home optionsDevelopment and career growth opportunitiesExcellent pension schemeBonus schemeHealth InsuranceIncome Protection & Life AssuranceFamily friendly leave allowances, including paid maternity and paternity leave. #LI-DM2#LI-HybridAbout Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
