The ideal candidate for this role is highly strategic, analytical, and creative, with knowledge of product marketing and new product development. They will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and an innovative mindset for filling them. This person should be a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product from conception to launch. We’re looking for a confident team player who is comfortable influencing key cross-functional stakeholders to lead the creation of products that improve customer experience. The ideal candidate possesses deep Genesys platform knowledge, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, is an effective communicator, and has abundant experience working cross-functionally.Role Objectives:Drive the WEM Beyond education product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teamsAnalyze customer needs and current market trends, including current competitor offerings and seeking opportunities for differentiationCreate a strong WEM Beyond education product strategy, translating that strategy into product requirements, and developing appropriate offerings to ensure those requirements are metDevelop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departmentsAppraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plansCreate and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including the business unit WEM Product team, Professional Services, and greater CSSKey Responsibilities:Drive the execution of key processes in the product lifecycle, specifically: product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launchTranslate product strategy into detailed requirements for development by the Product Owner and Development teamWork directly with internal units and customer feedback to identify user needs and define product requirementsCreate product strategy presentations that describe business cases, high-level use cases, and technical requirementsDefine product objectives for effective marketing communicationsCarry out commercialization tasks centered on WEM Beyond education portfolio, including communications with Sales and MarketingUnderstand the Genesys WEM product well enough to effectively communicate with the Product Owner and Development team, and support the Sales and Delivery organizationsCommunicate WEM Beyond education product updates regarding new, end of life, and major changes to the department as a wholeDevelop a WEM Beyond product education focused strategic plan and execute on the plan to meet all target KPIsPerform regular data analysis to ensure portfolio is on track to successUtilize the life cycle management process to regularly review existing training products and develop updates and obsolescence plans as neededMinimum Requirements:5+ years working with product development in either a tech, telecom, or education focused environmentProven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycleAbility to quickly learn technical products and apply knowledge to new projectsPrevious experience working with Agile development methodologiesExceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skillsBS Required; MBA preferredMay require up to 25% travel#LI-AC1#LI-RemoteCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
