In this role you will manage staff activities, solving most complex business/operational issues within established policies and work with the CO and WSS Teams. This role offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the Services & Solutions Market business results and organizational strategy. You will act as a key advisor to the GSS senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization. You’ll plan, manage and monitor high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Key responsibilities:Lead highly complex strategic, organizational, and operational initiatives, business development, and large-scale transformation.Partner with executives in creating strategic initiatives and securing budgets for plans and projects on a wide range of strategic issues, including risk management and implementation tactics.Oversee significant research and analysis efforts and develops new tools and processes to evaluate strategic objectives.Influence and coach executives by presenting compelling analyses and recommendations that build the business case for new strategic initiatives.Direct large, global, virtual, and cross-functional communications to facilitate the development of strategic initiatives and fully integrate strategic initiatives across businesses and countries.Provide innovative thought leadership and develop customer and services messages.Manage staff meetings, financials, headcount, All Employee Meetings and VIA Action Plans.Be responsible for GSS employees and employee experience in partnership with HR.Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience, with strong Project Management expertise in:Driving strategic initiatives (like sustainability, SMB, or transformations…)Operational planning (ops plan next FY, HC&OPEX)Reviews preparation (QBW, MBR…),Communication (newsletters, webinars, events…)Key skills:Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.Strong leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management.Ability to lead multiple, large, time sensitive projects or work streams.Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations.Extensive knowledge of research methodology for the most challenging business issues.Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.Good knowledge of HP Financials and the CO Flash Process.Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.Proven track-record of project/program leadership at HP including leading global, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.Strong analytical thinking, analysis, problem-solving skills, process orientation, and business acumen skills.High degree of flexibility and the ability to work within a fluid, constantly changing environment.Ability to pull together external, and internal Executive level presentations.Highly developed collaboration, relationship building, and communication skills.Proven ability to work with/influence across all levels and functions within the organization to achieve actionable results through others.Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail and quality of deliverables; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities (both long and short term) simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills, and group facilitation. Ability to communicate complex or abstract ideas clearly and succinctly.Experience applying advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
