We are looking for a Site Selection Manager for our growing data center space! NVIDIA is the artificial intelligence computing company and paving the way with innovations in self-driving cars, machine learning, supercomputing, gaming and visualization. NVIDIA gives automakers, tier-1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for self-driving vehicles. We are now developing data centers on which our machine learning services can run and need an experience leader to design, deploy, and operate these data centers.What you will doing:As a site selection manager within the NVIDIA Data Center Engineering team:Lead feasibility discussions and contract negotiations with service providers, property owners, economic development agencies, and utility companiesCollaborate with internal organizations including capacity planning, energy, data center design, construction, network engineering, legal, policy, and financePartner with internal teams to negotiate the best terms for NVIDIA on contracts, and work orders, while ensuring the build-out of our data centers is timely and on or under budgetPrepare project location recommendations and present them to management for approval with key criteria to drive a site selection to meet the needs of multiple business team membersDevelop portfolio management metrics and tracking mechanisms and work well with external lease management companiesWhat we need to see:Bachelor's degree in Business, Civil Engineering, City Planning or related (or equivalent experience)7+ years of experience in site selection and data center or other capital project or infrastructure developmentTechnical depth in data center mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and networking/transitExperience leading real estate negotiations including contract formation and contract negotiationsTrack record of success developing and negotiating data center deals (power, cooling, space, network)Experience at representing business interests to governments (state, county, and local), utilities, potential suppliers, and other stakeholdersExperience handling lease negotiations and contractsExperience presenting commercial, market, and contractual details to all organizational levelsWays to stand out from the crowd:Proven track record of development of data center.You take a creative approach to problems, and provide multiple solutions to the challenges that are presented.Self-starter with strong analytical skills.Positive attitude, with the able and desire to dig deep into issues and resolve them.Ability to drive innovation and not be bothered by change.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
