NVIDIA’s silicon validation engineers are responsible for developing methodologies, analyzing, debug, and crafting NVIDIA’s GPUs and SoCs into state of the art desktop, notebook, professional, and mobile solutions.What you'll be doing:Develop validation test methods for new designs from Mixed-Signal Design GroupGet along with multi-functional groups to support silicon validation and ramp to production.Measure and correlate lab data on new analog and mixed-signal designsProvide feedback to designers on silicon performance, design quality, and margin.Verify electrical compliance to industry standards and internal specsBring up & debug of analog/mixed-signal macros, and related systems.Measure and analyze signal integrity of high-speed serial links, memory, display, PLLs, and power delivery networks.Able to train new engineers in validation practices.What we need to see:BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or similar areas (or equivalent experience)Knowledge of serial communication standards, PLL, DAC, ADC, and bandgapsDeep understanding of fundamental analog circuit designs. Signal Integrity experience a plus8+ years of experience measuring, analyzing, and debugging complex mixed-signal designs and experience developing automation scripts (Python preferred)Experience with instrument knowledge (spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, DMM, etc) and instrument controls scripting and familiar with bringup script debug.Familiar with developing test suite compliant with validation test plans, automation.Self-checking script implementation and logic independently by driving debug sessions with relevant stakeholders.Build and optimize new validation’s processes based on new design and adaptable to time sensitive show-stopping issuesDetailed, working knowledge of lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, BERTs, Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Function Generators etc.)The base salary range is $156,000 - $287,500.
