This Field Applications Engineering role is for a junior to an experienced engineer who is knowledgeable in networking, system design, and a leader to our customers who believe that artificial intelligence, data science, digital twins, and graphics visualization are a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform industry.NVIDIA is searching for an extraordinary FAE with a focus on network and system design for enterprise computing. Your primary responsibilities will be customer technical engagement for networking and computing systems targeted at a wide range of deployments from the data center to the edge. You will be working multi-functionally with our organizations to ensure a positive experience for external customers. You should be comfortable working in a sophisticated environment and have experience working with stand-alone and distributed systems. You will use your interpersonal skills and technical knowledge to provide design-in support for NVIDIA products in enterprise systems.What you’ll be doing:Be a technical specialist on GPU computing and networking products directly supporting sales account managers, working closely with the team to secure design wins.Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the AI/HPC market.Provide onsite support to solve problems in hardware and software.Lead the support of the product through the design-in phase all the way to product end of life.Create technical solutions such as hardware & software demos and example system designs.Provide technical and sales training to, engineering, direct sales, and customer support teams.Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.What we need to see:BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).3+ years of work-related experience in high-tech electronics industry in an system design role or technical customer support role.Minimum 1-year of experience in designing Ethernet NetworksPrior experience with Ethernet Switch concepts and protocolsCapable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.Ability to multitask optimally in a multifaceted environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to efficiently collaborate with management and engineering.Ways to stand out from the crowd:NVIDIA GPU and Networking development or support experience.Hardware design and knowledge of PCIe, I2C, CSI/DSI, DP/eDP/HDMI, CAN, I2S, SPI, UART, USB, SATA, and ethernet.Background working with OEMs in the enterprise data center domainDatacenter networking, Virtualization, Deep Learning, and/or AI experience.Advanced degreeNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
