You will have opportunities to collaborate with the global EHS team, regional field offices, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and processes that keep our work environment sustainable, healthy, and safe. We’re looking for someone that is highly organized, excellent at building collaborative and productive working relationships, and will be focused on process improvement that positively impacts operations and the business.What you'll be doing:Implement and monitor NVIDIA's global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs/policiesAssist in the management and continuous improvement activities of NVIDIA’s Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001) and incorporate into field offices, where appropriateIdentify and recommend actions vital to implement, maintain, and refine ongoing EHS compliance programs for our employees, including, but not limited to, timely preparation and revision of procedures, training materials and activities related to EHS compliance and pollution preventionCoordinate site EHS inspections and conduct or schedule training in conformance with our EHS management systemInvestigate the root cause of EHS incidents, near misses, and recurring inspection findings and make recommendations for corrective and preventive actionsOversee and facilitate with lab management the completion of PPE hazard assessments, chemical inventories, safety data sheets, chemical labeling, and chemical storage areas and hazardous waste accumulation areas.Provide routine training /coaching to employees in regulatory issues, job safety skills and PPE utilizationIntegrate EHS into the design and development of facilities, work areas, work procedures and make recommendations that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and compliance of the operationWhat we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in environmental, health and safety or equivalent experience. MS degree a plus6+ years of increasing responsibilities in environment, health and safety programsBackground in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 or similar accredited EHS management systemsExperience effectively communicating and sending clear, concise and consistent messages, including proposed plans and results to senior leadershipExperience in a fast-paced, startup like environmentOrganized, analytical, diligent, problem-solver, project management skills with a focus on resultsWays to stand out from the crowd:Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalentEHS professional membership, registration and/or certification from an accredited organizationExperience working in a critically important environment (data center, emergency response)Background in applying NFPA 70E in a semiconductor operation or technology R&D environmentExperience supporting regional sites and implementing EHS programs in different countriesWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
