We are looking for an Accounting Contract Manager to join our Accounting/Deals Desk organization. As an Accounting Contract Manager, you will provide strategic direction in deal structuring for Operating Expense and Capital Expenditure arrangements and provide guidance to numerous contract stakeholders across the Company. You will also ensure proper Accounting under US GAAP in a SOX-compliant environment.What you will doing:Foster strong partnerships across various business teams including Finance, Legal, Engineering and Operations to understand contractual arrangements and provide accounting guidance/expertise.Edit, review and approve contracts (primarily purchase arrangements); collaborate with FP&A and accounting stakeholders to ensure proper accounting and reporting in Company’s financial system of record.Document accounting conclusions and author accounting memos for significant/complex transactionsResearch complex accounting topics and respond to technical accounting inquiries from business partners; simply and precisely explain accounting matters and concepts to all levels within the Company and provide options and recommendations.Manage lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842 LeasesEvaluate the impact of new accounting standards and drive execution of related implementation as needed.Create and update accounting policies and partner with Finance stakeholders to operationalize accounting policies and procedures.Assist in special accounting and finance projects on an ad-hoc basis.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience).CPA or equivalent qualification7+ years of public accounting and/or related industry technical accounting experience3+ years of contract review and management experienceFamiliarity working in a public company SOX-compliant environment.Proficiency in researching accounting literature and experience in the following areas:Cloud service provider, datacenter and software arrangements including concepts related to support and implementation costsIP License arrangementsASC 450 ContingenciesASC 842 LeasesAbility to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the Company.Strong financial and accounting knowledge, attention to detail and a high sense of accountability.Knowledge of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers is a plus for additional agility.Experience collaborating across a large organization to influence and inspire change.Experience with SAP, DocuSign CLM, and/or Lease Harbor Apex application systems is a plus.Energy and real passion for delivering results in a dynamic growth company and fast-paced environment.NVIDIA’s core values are innovation, intellectual honesty, speed and agility, excellence and determination, and one team.
