Senior CPU Verification Engineer

NVIDIA is currently seeking a Verification Engineer with strong CPU and verification fundamentals to help drive our CPU execution. We have crafted a team of outstanding people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of computing. We recently announced Grace CPU for HPC and AI workloads https://www.nvidia.com/en-in/data-center/grace-cpu/What you’ll be doing:Work on NVIDIA's next generation CPUVerify micro-architecture/architecture features at unit level or subsystem or full chip testbenches including FPGA/SiliconWork along with CPU architects in creating verifiable designsDraft detailed verification testplans.Define/Create a scalable constrained-random verification environment using SystemVerilog and UVM.Drive stimulus, comprehensive coverage strategy to show continuous progress towards tape-out.Lookout for continuous improvement of verification flows/processes.Ability to lead and provide detailed technical guidance to junior verification engineers.Agility to work on multiple tasks/projects.What we need to see:Bachelors/Masters or equivalent experience in Computer Science or electrical engineering and 8+ years of industry experienceExperience with full stack development - from verifying sequences at SW simulator level, to getting the overall end-to-end sequence working on silicon with a full sw stackStrong verification fundamentals and able to juggle working on full chip testbenches and on FPGA/SiliconProficient in CPU architecture (ARM knowledge is desirable), Verilog, SystemVerilog and possess strong debugging skills.Experience with Instruction Cache, Branch Prediction units of CPU.Experience with CPU test generators.Good communication skills and ability & desire to work as a great teammate are a must.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
