Principal Software Engineer

You’ll have opportunities to own the technical planning, implementation, and delivery of impactful features. Our tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Vue.JS, GraphQL, and for mobile, Swift and Kotlin.Responsibilities Independently complete business critical, complex technical coding tasksProvide careful code reviews with an emphasis on promoting growth in junior team membersAid in defining new code standards and development processesLead the development of cross-team, framework-level projectsSpread the understanding of the business domain, data model, and design of the code base for the nCino SimpleNexus product to other developersHelp develop technical strategies for utilizing new technologies in nCino SimpleNexus productsAct as a resource for the knowledge of the technologies (languages, frameworks, etc.) used by nCinoPromote the growth and sharing of the craft of coding and design within nCino/SimpleNexusFacilitate communication and collaboration across all development teamsAct as a technical resource for other areas, sharing general technical knowledge and specific knowledge of the productMentor other developers and help them learn to mentor othersBe a great teammate – carry your load, help out, be flexible and adapt easily to changing product needs based on customers and the marketQualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience6+ years experience or combination experience, education, & superior performanceExpert knowledge in Object Oriented Programming. Preferable experience in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, Restful API, OpenAPI Sec, Vue.js, OAuth and JavaExpert knowledge of web application developmentExpert knowledge in relational databases.
