If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Silicon Photonics Testing EngineerBroadcom is looking for a Silicon Photonics Testing Engineer who is motivated, self-driven and possesses excellent written and oral communication skills. As an individual contributor you will support the characterization of the Silicon Photonic PIC (both wafer level and chip level), hybrid sub-assembly, and subsystem.Responsibilities:Define test plans and develop test setups for optical and electrical tests.Establish high speed testings for modulators and photo diodes.Develop scripts for testing automation and data post-process.Produce optical and electrical test parameter specifications based on data analysis.Maintain test system verification and calibrationEducation:MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Optics with 10+ years of experience or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Optics and 7+ years related experience.Experience:High speed EO and OE testing and probing in wafer and chip level Hands on experience with optical wafer, chip, component and system-level testing.Strong knowledge in data collection and analysis Proficiency in Python, C, JMP for test automation and data post-process.Strong understanding of simulation and modeling of silicon photonic passive and active devices.Strong understanding of photonic device design principlesExcellent team-working and collaborating skillExcellent problem solvingAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $126,000 - $210,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.Broadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
