If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Job Description:Work as part of a Mixed Signal and IO Library Development team in Central Engineering. Primary responsibilities include:Design and verification of IO interfaces and mixed signal blocks such as GPIO, DDR, I2C, LVDS, Power On Reset, bias circuits, bandgap, voltage regulators, process monitors, voltage/temperature sensors, crystal oscillators, etc.  RTL coding, synthesis and verification of digital wrappers that interface with analog circuitry.  Interface with both custom and P&R layout engineers and oversee physical design and verification.  Develop functional models, perform timing characterization and generate CAD views of these IPs.  Directly interface with project teams to understand their requirements, write specifications and design IOs and mixed signal IPs as requested.  Support SOC teams with integration and verification of these IPs.  Design of IP verification blocks and test vectors to support silicon validation of responsible IP blocks on test chips.  Work with test engineers to support silicon validation either on ATE or on the bench.  Work with product and failure analysis engineers during debug or new product introduction phases.Develop accurate documentation in the form of datasheets, application notes and integration guides. Skills and Qualifications Required:Educational requirements: MSEE with 3+ years of hands-on experience in mixed signal integrated circuit design.  Academic coursework must include basic and advanced analog integrated circuits design, device physics, digital circuit fundamentals, programming languages and algorithms, computer architecture and statistics.This position is intended for a junior-level engineer with career growth opportunities through on-the-job training.  We are looking for candidates with good written and oral communication skills, excellent team work, strong analytical skills, self-starter attitude, and motivation to learn and work under guidance of senior engineers.Comfortable in automation using UNIX shell scripting or any other languages such as SED, AWK, TCL or PERL. PERL and Python experience a major plus.  Candidates should feel that scripting and coding are a necessary aspect of any design task.Position will be in a challenging work ethic environment where problem solving and innovation are encouraged and rewarded.​Candidate encouraged to submit university transcripts showing course work taken and merit ratings.Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $130,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
