A person in this position will be looking within our portfolio for opportunities to leverage existing value, explore new and emerging use-cases and continue to grow the value our clients get from our solution portfolio.The Core Infrastructure Value Stream includes a significant number of Mainframe Software products that our clients consider critical to manage and run their enterprise. These include products such as XCOM, MRI, TPX, EasyTrieve, z/VM Tools, Top Secret for z/VSE and many more. More details:Helps manage execution of product strategy and project manage special projects across our portfolio of Core Infrastructure Mainframe Software products. Interfaces with engineering, to lead the prioritization and development execution of existing and established mainframe products. Acts as the "voice of the client" as needed for prioritizing an agile development environment. Coordinates with Engineering leadership to prioritize technical debt or engineering excellence initiatives. Conducts competitive analysis to determine product positioning, market segmentation, channel mix, pricing, volume, product service/support strategy and identifies customer needs. Solution/product planning responsibilities include analyzing/understanding market trends and opportunities, customer business issues and solution requirements within a targeted market segment to develop need assessments and propose business and solutions strategies. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
