We are looking for a Director, Solution Consulting to join our Inside Sales team, leading our global solution consulting team based in either US or Europe. This is an amazing opportunity to partner with leadership and commercial teams to build out and execute against strategic account plans and customer opportunities.  As we build out the team, this role will initially be both a Team Leader and Individual Contributor.  As a Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Solution Consultants located across the world and ensuring we are driving new business growth in all regions through high quality, in depth customer discovery and solution  demonstrations. Initially, you will also be expected to contribute individually, driving commercial outcomes by building customer trust and confidence in our proposed solutions and associated value proposition.  You will work with the customer and commercial teams to define solutions packages and identify the set of products, solutions, and services that will best serve their needs.  While this role will involve the need to “demo solutions” as a means to an end, the role is primarily focused on building trust through subject-matter expertise, solving customer problems, developing, and modeling relevant solutions, and building out the value proposition in a way that leads to the desired commercial outcomes. This position can be located near any of our US offices About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, Biology, Science or related fields Minimum of 7 years of industry experience relevant to the domain offering, especially experience that includes using data, software, and services to enable processes, make decisions, and deliver value2 years international management experiencePrevious solution consulting/pre-sales/sales engineering or SME experience  It would be great if you also have . . .  Masters or PhD in relevant field Published academic research and public speaking experience in domain area  Additional language skills What will you be doing in this role? Responsible for new business growth within Inside Sales, you will develop and drive all regional and global new business growth initiatives in collaboration with other commercial functionsCoaching the team to identify customer needs and build larger solution offerings that deliver customer value Acting Subject Matter Expert (SME) demonstrating domain expertise with a strong personal brand of experience, domain/solution/technical knowledge, and practical business applications.   Growing the team in line with business demandAbout the Team  The Inside Sales Solution Consulting team is an engine for commercial growth, a trusted advisor to customers and prospects, and an outstanding cross-functional team player.
