Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Legal Counsel who can join our Legal, Risk & Compliance team in Belgrade. This is an amazing opportunity to support wide-ranging areas of work including supporting strategic and business-critical initiatives within the team. You will be reporting to the Senior Director, Associate General Counsel (based in US). We would love to speak with you if you have experience when it comes to negotiating customer contracts & procurement law.About you – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsQualified lawyer registered with a Bar Council4-6 years of post-qualification experience working as a lawyer (with at least 2-3 years of in-house legal experience working in a global organization)It would be great if you also had…Experience in supporting management and resolution of day-to-day corporate and commercial issues and related legal risksExperience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements, including customer and vendor agreementsExperience in liaising with senior members of staffExperience in supporting successful implementation of group level corporate project, including auditsAttention to detail, professionalism and customer-centricity, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhat will you be doing in this role?Support the business as an integral part of the Legal team;Review legal and commercial terms for professional service agreements, master services agreements, license agreements, statements of work, partner agreements, vendor agreements, nondisclosure and privacy agreements; Coordinate with global product subject matter experts, including other members of the legal team, as relevantInternational RFP review and response; support the monitoring and management of legal email activity and legal-related inquiriesParticipate in the development of internal legal and contracts training, including conducting live training; collaborate with colleagues globally to provide day-to-day legal support and guidanceAssist with tracking law updates and support relevant implementation actionAbout the TeamClarivate’s Legal, Risk and Compliance Group is an integral part of the Company, and the team members support wide-ranging areas of work including supporting strategic and business-critical initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the legal function in a fast-paced atmosphere. You will be responsible for supporting global teams on all types of legal, contractual and regulatory issues.
