We are looking for a Senior Solutions Analyst/Senior Business Analyst to join our Life Sciences & Healthcare Technology team in London. This is an amazing opportunity to work on applications within our Life Sciences portfolio, specifically on a new and exciting Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety product. The cross-functional project team consists of approximately 15 team members, however, the overall project team is much larger. You will also be a member of the Solutions Analysis team, which consists of 20+ Solutions Analysts across three locations (UK, Spain and India).About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments At least 5 years’ experience of working as a Business Analyst in software developmentA Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or sciences disciplineA diploma in Business Analysis (e.g. ISEB) or evidence of training in the Business Analysis disciplineWill have led the business analysis of a specific medium-sized software application or the major component of a large software applicationSound working knowledge of developing and implementing software development initiativesFully experienced in requirements gathering and validation and working knowledge of requirements tracking tools such as JIRA, Rally or similarExtensive experience of writing product specifications and requirements/Epics & user storiesExperience of writing customer facing documentationStrong understanding of working in an Agile development environment or with lean business process methodologiesAbility to write simple SQL queries to extract data from databasesIt would be great if you also had . . . Experience of working in the Life Sciences domain, particularly in the delivery of software to Life Sciences companiesExperience of working on the development of GxP compliant softwareDesired technical attributes: Experience in the design and development of REST/SOAP web services; Data modelling; Data analysis and data visualization skillsWhat will you be doing in this role?Manage and own the product development process for specific initiatives from concept development through to product launch. Including elicitation, analysis, communication and validation of business and user requirements through facilitation between key business stakeholders.Maintaining a healthy backlog for the development teamMaintaining customer facing documentation in the form of Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) and User Requirements Specifications (URS), plus supporting the creation of documentation required for GxP complianceProduct you will be developingYou will be working on a next generation pharmacovigilance (PV) literature review case tracking software, that will help Life Sciences organizations meet their regulatory requirements.About the Team The Solutions Analysis team consists of 20+ Solutions Analysts located across three locations; UK, Spain and India. However, the project team with whom you will be working with on a daily basis will largely be located in London, with a US-based product owner. The project team of 6-10 colleagues, includes developers, QA, UX, Scrum Master and Architect.The internal stakeholders are the Product Management team and our external stakeholders are pharmaceutical companies and pharmaceutical regulatory organisations.Hours of Work This is a part-time role (25 hours per week) working with colleagues based in Barcelona, London and the US.
