Information Blurb Clarivate’s Legal, Risk and Compliance Group (“LRC Group”) is an integral part of the Clarivate and the legal team members located in the US, EMEA and APAC, support wide-ranging areas of work including supporting strategic and business-critical initiatives. Clarivate ‘s Legal team is looking to add a team member in Senior Legal Counsel role, to support the needs of the business globally, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Legal. We want this key role onboard to help us and have a real stake in our success, now and in the future.Senior Legal Counsel will be based in Noida and will be a key member of LRC Group. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the legal function in a fast-paced atmosphere. You will be responsible for supporting global teams on all types of legal, contractual and regulatory issues. You will also be a trusted advisor to various teams supporting strategic projects and developing risk mitigation strategies. About You: Qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.Prior in-house legal experience working in a fast-paced global organization is essential.Experience in supporting management and resolution of day-to-day corporate and commercial issues and related legal risks.Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements, including customer and vendor agreements.International experience and/or working experience at a multi-national corporation preferred.Ability to operate without supervision and finding solution to complex problems.Attention to detail is critical; professionalism and customer-centricity are a must.Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and can-do attitude.Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence senior leaders and stakeholders globally.Well versed in Microsoft Office 365 applications.Proficient in spoken and written English. Other language skills a strong plus.A team player and collaboratorIt would be great if you also had . . . Indian Bar council MembershipWhat will you be doing in this role? Role responsibilities:Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of complex agreements with customers, vendors, partners, content sourcing, agents, distributors, resellers and other third parties, including data licenses, software sourcing and intellectual property licenses, domain names/trade mark assignment deeds and other complex commercial agreements.Support key functional teams as an aligned legal partner with day-to-day legal advice and support.Assist with strategic initiatives including process improvements, optimizing procedures, and contracting template restructuring and integration.Partner closely with global LRC Group leaders, including other members of the legal team, globally as relevant to identify opportunities for efficiencies and help implement initiatives.Support the business, generally as an integral part of the Legal team with ad-hoc legal advice.Research and respond to general legal inquiries from the business functions/segments that relate to matters like local regulatory issues, partnerships, content, sourcing and software licensing, litigation, privacy, intellectual property, real estate and other corporate and compliance matters.Collaborate with colleagues globally to provide day-to-day legal support and guidance.Hours of Work The regular working hours are 9:00 AM IST to 6: 00 PM IST.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
