Job SummaryReporting to the VP Global GTM Operations, the leader is responsible for supporting the Revenue Operations team deliver the last mile of support across the central capabilities on a local level, as well as capturing the first mile of feedback and input directly from regional teams. The Regional Operations lead also collaborates with the regional functional leaders on key cadences, projects and initiatives, and leverages central Revenue Operations teams as much as possible to drive efficiency in both supported teams and their own.ResponsibilitiesSupport Leaders with strategy and implementationManage the implementation of a centrally defined global/regional GTM multiyear strategy (e.g., segmentation and targeting, quotas, STAR, territory design, forecasting, account planning, support resource allocation, etc.) and helps their supported teams translate strategy into regional an country level decisions to achieve Equinix objectivesAct as the regional strategist for the regional functional leader of the GTM group (e.g., regional Sales and GCCX leaders)Lead cross functional teams across strategy, planning, analytics, and enablement capabilities, delivering last mile of Revenue Operations capabilities to supported regional teamsManage escalations from regional functional leaders by directing to appropriate central RevOps teamSupport key programs and initiative implementationCollaborate with regional functional leaders (e.g., regional Sales, GCCX leaders, Commercial Services, etc.) on key projects and initiatives which impact their organization (e.g., Customer Experience, Business Operations)Responsible for coordinating initiative implementation inside supported regionCoordinate with central RevOps capabilities to ensure consistency in operations and efficiency in resourcesSupport regional leaders to conduct regular reviews and key meeting cadences (e.g., QBRs, pipeline reviews) leveraging processes and tools defined by central RevOps teamsProviding local knowledge & insight to key stakeholdersDelivering local insights and liaises with the Reporting and Analytics team to deliver necessary information to GTM motions functional leaders to guide management decision-making. Proactively seeks and drives opportunities and drives to improve new and existing GTM motions ops processes and resulting customer buying journeyBring insights to CRO leaders at the global level for strategy refinement and initiative prioritization. Actively deters shadow reporting and effortIdentify opportunities for process improvementIdentify enhancements to RevOps services and peer functions (e.g., marketing, finance), and leads change plans to implement in coordination with central RevOps capabilitiesIdentify best practices and enhancements to processes in supported teams, coordinates with central RevOps capabilities for execution and codificationSupport Compensation Administration, and enablement feedback collectionEnable delivery of compensation administration.Partner with central RevOps Enablement team to share regional training needs and requirementsOversee codification of sales plays to enable regional best practices are conveyed to central Enablement team for incorporation into training materials across relevant regions and motionsProvide input into global training needs, coordinates closely with RevOps Enablement teamThought leader and influencer within RevOpsEngage with central RevOps teams to share regional learnings back to relevant RevOps teams for translation of learnings into tactical plansMentor and motivate their Regional Ops team and provide leadership and direction to achieve team engagementModel the Equinix cultures and valuesQualificationsExtensive experience / 15+ years of experience in sales strategy and/or sales operations or similar experienceExtensive experience in Field Operations, managing Sales, Customer Success, or Commercial teams, or similar relevant experienceDemonstrated ability to think strategically and translate high level strategy goals into tactical plans for supported teamsExperience working in a fast paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environmentExperience influencing senior stakeholders across different functional groupsExperience partnering with multiple stakeholders, building relationships across the organizationExperience of change management and driving strategic changeBachelor degree or equivalent experienceProven ability to support and influence senior leaders, middle management and individual contributorsRegional business management – able to understand regional dynamics and requirements of focus marketsProven ability to build efficiency focused, collaborative teams, develop people and prioritize activities that have the highest impact to supported field teamsAbility to deliver results in a large, matrix environment comprising a broad range of internal stakeholdersAbility to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across the organizational ladder to drive behavioral change and implementation of initiativesExcellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates our critical competences of transformation leadershipThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $201,000 to $341,000California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $197,000 to $335,000Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $182,000 to $310,000Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
