The role would be involved in all aspects of employee benefits (risk insurance, healthcare, pension, leave etc.) and compensation (base salary, bonuses, stock and commissions) within EMEA and work closely with global compensation and benefits team, HR business partners and business leaders.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the business requirements and provide guidance to HR and functional leaders on reward mattersDevelops, analyses, and makes suggestions for compensation and benefits programs in support of the EMEA region to ensure they are aligned with the Equinix Rewards philosophy, externally competitive, fiscally responsible, and aligned with business expectationsAnalyses quantitative and qualitative data, understand trends, and distils information into actionable insights from a variety of sources on compensation and benefitsParticipate in off-cycle market analysis and job grading for the region and provide guidance on the company’s job architectureKeep abreast of regulatory changes in the region impacting reward that the company needs to comply with. Ensuring compensation and benefit plans comply with national and local labour lawsSupport the establishment of benefits and pension governance process across all the countries and revamp the reward governance process by collaborating with HR services and payrollSupport implementation of various global compensation and benefits policies across the regionProvide advice and guidance on all key benefits and compensation elements as needed to HR Business Partners, country HR Leads, and talent acquisition, including C&B queriesSupport EMEA Reward Lead with business-critical reward projects in the regions such as M&A, expansions, etcAnalyze and prepare reports on various statutory pay reporting required within EMEAParticipate in annual activities such as global benefits reviews, annual compensation review cycle etc. by providing a regional perspectiveResponsible for management of benefit portals and technology platforms, including project management of annual enrolmentMay be required to submit data to third party vendors for external benchmarking for compensation and benefitsManage key relationships with vendors ensuring smooth running of benefits implementation and annual renewalsExecute key activities to administer benefits programs including costing, enrolment windows, define eligibility, manage vendor onboarding tasks with procurement & legal etcSupport employee communication process year-round on changes to compensation and benefits offerings whether due to regulations or internal changesWork closely with the global compensation and benefits teamQualificationsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills - both oral and writtenConsidered an expert in one or more key compensation subject matter areasAbility to presents facts and information to management/internal stakeholdersExperience in designing & implementing compensation and benefits programs, preferably across multiple locationsAbility to manage projects and collaborate with multiple HR and Functional stakeholders across locationsProven years of experience in Reward preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
