Reporting to and partnering with the Program Director, this role will serve as a project manager on one or several workstreams.  This individual will need to have mastered project management skills to then help teams formulate plans from ambiguity, resolve issues, and remove roadblocks from the team. ResponsibilitiesLead global, cross functional workstreams focused on accelerating our digital transformationUse program and project management best practices to help teams execute programs on time, on budget, and within project goal specificationsEnsure program and/or project goals and objectives are met.  Lead benefit realization exercisesAnalyze solutions from multiple angles, provide recommendations considering the needs of cross functional teams, and assess priority based on fit to agreed organizational criteriaPresent to program steering committees making detailed, prioritized recommendations, communicating risks and program status, facilitating discussions, and driving decision makingLead program status reporting highlighting risks, issues, and concernsCreate and communicate program charter, scope, and goals to stakeholdersBaseline current process performance, set objectives and complete cost benefit assessments. Create metrics and dashboards to measure process efficiencies to validate resultsDrive program implementation working closely with subject matter experts through initiation, business requirement definition, solution selection, functional design, development, testing, change management and go-livePossess the confidence to challenge the status quo and ensure project conversations drive innovative thinkingEstimate and request funding and resources. Track budget actuals and forecast spendIdentify and engage appropriate stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive conflict resolutionResolve issues and escalate as required.QualificationsBackground in digital (software) industry including a working understanding of product implementations, go-to-market, and user experienceExperience with both waterfall and agile methodologies – a good understanding how to get frequent/regular deliverables in an iterative mannerExcellent facilitation and communication skillsExperience leading cross functional workshops and meetingsExcellent project management skillsExcellent influencing and change management skillsHighly organized and ability to prioritizeExperience working for a Global organization across multiple functions & regionsStrong critical thinking skillsHighly pro-active & ability to work independentlyEnthusiastic and a passion to learn and develop10+ years’ experience in related field preferredBachelor’s degree requiredPMP Certification preferred / or certifications in agile preferredFluent English language skills (verbal and written)Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
