You know when something is working, and you have the feedback loop in place to tell when something can be optimized. You have an iterative mindset and can anticipate customer and partner product innovations that keep us on the cutting edge of our industry. You can sense when the market is changing and will incubate ideas to determine right timing for product evolution.This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Colocation.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and nurture relationships with engineering, product management, joint partner solutions, marketing, and sales to ensure successful execution of your product vision from idea to execution and all the way to the hands of partners and customersContinuously gather feedback from partners and customers and empathize with their needsEmploy external listening mechanismsDelve into market and competitive research to drive new investment opportunitiesWork with partners and joint solutions team to identify market needs and create new products to take to their customersUse your strong commercial skills to prioritize which initiatives are worthy of productizingCustomize APIs for Colocation services, custom billing model, pre-deploying of equipment to evolve the partner ecosystemArticulates vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a global, matrixed teamQualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical field of study; MBA is a plus10+ years of progressive experience in product managementWorking knowledge of data center colocation and how it plays a key role in a customer’s digital transformationExperience identifying/developing joint product development solutions/initiatives with partnersExperience with multiple GTM routes with partnersPrior experience in enterprise technology sales or business developmentSought out industry speaker/recognized authority across social mediaStrong technical curiosity  Strong user and stakeholder empathyExperience working with partners using multiple routes to marketEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
