This product will be used for capacity and inventory management and thanks advanced process automation and 3D visualization is going to help the company to grow even further.  And we are looking for a Staff Software Engineer candidate.  If challenges in distributed architecture, microservices, cloud, APIs, containers and automation excites you, you will be in for a technology buffet treat!   Responsibilities Work with Product Management and other key collaborators to develop effective and efficient business solutions  Responsible for delivering solutions that meet business objectives in alignment with architectural principles & guidelines Responsible for the design and development of user interfaces for software products Develop User Interface, Microservices & REST APIs (incl. Swagger and OpenAPI) Develop and maintain reusable UI components and libraries Optimize user interfaces for performance and scalability Responsible for operating in a DevSecOps environment with quality first mentalityParticipate in the design & peer code review process Responsible for solving and fixing production issues with SLA complianceParticipate in continuous grooming in collaboration with the Product Owner Work in a Globally Distributed Development team environment with minimal direction Responsible for Investigating, analyzing, and evaluating new technologies Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent with proven years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of education Strong computer programming foundation with knowledge of Data Structures, Concurrency, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and Best Practices Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular Knowledge of UI design principles and best practices Experience with user-centered design methodologies and usability testing Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards Hands-on experience with Agile-scrum methodology and Test-driven development Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, and deployment Nice to haveExperience with WebGL (Three.js) Knowledge of Micro front-end (MFE) architecture Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio Experience using a public cloud such as AWS, Azure, or GCP  Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, you may send an email to accommodations@equinix.com.
