As a Treasury manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our balance sheet hedging program at a leading global digital infrastructure company. You will also provide support for strategic transactions including capital markets and M&A.Applicants who meet the requirements for this role should possess a strong foundation in accounting and finance, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, a proactive demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.The role can be located in Redwood City, CA; Dallas, TX; or Toronto, Canada.ResponsibilitiesManage a variety of hedging programs, which may include balance sheet, cash flow, or net investment hedging programs. Responsibilities include exposure identification, developing and executing hedging strategies, reporting, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with established controlsEstablish and manage relationships with both internal teams such as FP&A, tax, and accounting, as well as external partners such as investment banks, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting Equinix’s foreign exchange and interest rate exposure. Apply this knowledge to provide internal advice to the organization on matters of FX and interest rate risk managementAbility to research and provide guidance on US GAAP accounting implications during strategy meetings, including presenting findings with pros, cons, and implementation guidanceImprove the current process related to the collection and monitoring of FX exposuresAssist in developing presentations that effectively communicates FX and interest rates risk management information to C-level executives and board of directorsProvide assistance with internal and external audits, as well as other ad hoc projects, including M&A and capital markets transactions, when neededSupport post-trade activities, which may include tasks such as preparing designation documentation, conducting effectiveness testing, and performing reconciliationsStay on top of the latest trends in the foreign exchange and interest rates marketsQualificationsGreat teammate with a positive demeanorStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint is criticalPublic accounting experience preferred and CPA desiredExperience with Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, FXall, Reval, Bloomberg Terminal is a plusThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:San Francisco, CA / Bay Area:  $111,000 to $185,000Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
