We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment. that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.What you’ll be doing:Providing support to Spain sites to resolve SCADA, BMS and PLC issuesKeeping the team updated with security legislation and complianceEnsuring engineering infrastructure is maintained, operated, and handled in accordance with the appropriate standards to ensure reliability and performance to the highest possible levelsEvaluating, maintaining, and modifying existing installed systemsWorking collaboratively with design engineers, technical facilities teams, operations engineers (globally) and other internal staff on the design, specification, installation, testing and setting to work of new systemsCollaborating closely with suppliers and contractors regarding new and installed systemsAssisting site-based Engineers with problem solvingOptimising and refining strategy of control systems to support Global Operation Engineering objectives for environmental and sustainability goalsUnderstanding and ensuring compliance with safe working systems, safety, and quality standards of both the company and the country in which work is undertakenSupporting for Incident Management reporting, Change Management, Critical Maintenance Requests approvalQualificationsDegree in Electrical, Electronic or Control Systems Engineering or equivalent qualifications with additional experienceExperience of working in a data centre or similar critical environmentExperience with one or more brands of control systems including: ABB, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Andover or AVEVA (Wonderware),Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical and automation (PLC) engineering is requiredAbility to resolve solutions and use initiativeMust be able to understand control schemes for solving problems and optimizing operationsSelf-starter with good team working skillsAbility to communicate in EnglishWhat do we offer?Comprehensive and market-competitive remuneration packagePermanent Health Insurance (PHI)You are entitled to 25 days holiday per annum in addition to any statutory holidaysRestaurant Tickets and partly subsidised mealsEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (‘ESPP’)Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesInternal training/development hub with continuous formative plans available to allAn inclusive, balanced and friendly culture with our embedded ethos in which to strive onEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Data show that many applicants apply for a job when they have 100% of what is required.
