Assistant Manager, Data Center Critical FacilitiesJob Summary:Responsible for supporting the management of critical data center facilities, ensuring operational excellence and reliability through effective maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.ResponsibilitiesManagement· Ensures the team is carrying out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing according to schedule.· Manages the critical facilities team in the data center.· Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance activities.Project / Infrastructure Site Management· Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers.· Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly plan.· Provides input and guidance towards budget.· Overall site capacity supervision.Vendor Management· Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.Testing· Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems Incident Management· Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incidentEducational Background & Years of ExperienceBachelor’s degree in an Engineering field or equivalent work experience requiredMinimum of 5 years of related work experience preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
