Theyarrive at a concert venue on show day and immediately jump into motion. Artist merchandiseneeds to be inventoried, distributed, and displayed for sale. When the gates open, fans rush intothe venue to buy their shirts, hats, and posters, and they flock to you. You fulfill their ordersquickly and carefully while taking the time to make each fan smile. After the show is over, youhelp the team reassemble the remaining merchandise. Once reconciliation is complete and themerchandise returned to the Artist, you head home, knowing you put in a full day’s work.WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOObjectives of the Role• Provide an exceptional merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans in LiveNation venues• Fulfill the order of guests in a timely fashion, ensuring they receive the correct items andsizes as requested• Accurately ring-up guest purchases in Live Nation’s sales system• Act as a brand ambassador for Live Nation, its local sponsors, and the venueDuties & Responsibilities• Participate in inventory count-in and count-out procedures• Create visually appealing displays and price items correctly• Complete sales transactions for each guest• Support successful sales operations at each event• Contribute to a positive work environment• Perform physical duties as required by the role, such as moving equipment ortransferring merchandise between locations• Take direction from their supervisor, the venue’s Merchandise ManagerWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGSkills & Qualifications• Specialists are detail oriented, supporting accuracy and completeness in order fulfillment• Specialists are quick thinking and able to respond to guest requests• Specialists are guest oriented, focusing on their requests• Specialists must be team-driven, working as part of a larger unit• Specialists need the ability to interact with guests politely• Specialists should be self-starters that do not require significant supervision• Specialists must have basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionExperience• Guest service positions desirable• Retail sales backgrounds not necessary• Positions that leverage customer service or hospitality• Prior experience is not as important as the appropriate attitude and interpersonal skillsJob Requirements• Must be available for the entire concert day, with shifts as long as 15 hours (with breaks)• Must be able to stand for long periods of time• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques• Must be able to work in outdoor environments in potential extreme temperatures• Must have a working understanding of touch-screen based systems• Must be of legal working age in the stateEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity andinclusion.
